TITLE AUXILIARY ANCHOR POINT FOR FRONT SHOULDER BELT
The use of auxiliary anchor points for front shoulder belts has been approved for Toyota models beginning with the 1987 model year.
These alternate locations should be used only when front seat occupants are inconvenienced by the original shoulder belt anchorage location.

RELOCATION PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the shoulder belt anchor cover and the anchor bolt.
2. Remove the center pillar garnish.
3. Drill a 25 mm diameter hole in the garnish molding for the shoulder belt anchor bolt.
4. Install the modified garnish molding.
5. Install the shoulder belt anchor bolt through the new hole in the garnish molding.
6. Install the shoulder belt anchor cover.
7. The original anchor bolt hole in the garnish molding should be covered with a hole plug, part number 90950-01159-11 (Available in Black only).
