Type A Codes

Type "A" Code Display:

Type "A" codes are indicated when circuits, switches, and computer are functioning properly. Codes are flashed by the main switch indicator light. To read "A" codes:

1. Turn ignition "ON."
2. Turn set/coast switch "ON" and keep it on.
3. Push main switch "ON."
4. Turn set/coast switch "OFF."
5. Read codes on main switch indicator light.
6. If code(s) do not flash, Code Inspections

NOTE: Code 4 is checked with rear jacked up and engine idling. To save time performing the next test, do not turn ignition "OFF" when above steps are completed.
