To eliminate rattling of the sliding sunroof panel, the sliding mechanism has been modified. Changes to the sunroof cables and front shoes are described in the illustration below:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

^ Order the revised sliding sunroof drive cables (RH & LH) and the sliding roof shoes (RH & LH) as listed in the PART NUMBER INFORMATION chart.


^ Remove the existing sunroof drive cables and front shoes and replace them with the revised parts. Refer to the TOYOTA CAMRY REPAIR MANUAL for detailed instructions concerning the removal, replacement, and adjustment of the Camry sliding sunroof panel.
