3E ENGINE

1. Connect a suitable tachometer onto engine.
2. Start engine.
3. Ensure engine operates normally.
4. Raise engine speed to 2600 RPM or more and maintain. At this time, ensure engine speed is steady.
5. Increase engine speed to approximately 2940 RPM or more, then using a suitable screwdriver, press tip of throttle position switch. Check for engine hesitation.
6. Release throttle position switch and check that engine speed returns to 2940 RPM or more.
7. With solenoid valve connected, then disconnected and engine idling, ensure engine idle becomes rough and engine eventually stops.
