Heater relay:

Continuity Test
1. Using a suitable ohmmeter, ensure continuity does exist between terminals 1 and 3, Fig. 21.
2. Using a suitable ohmmeter, ensure continuity does exist between terminals 2 and 4.
3. Using a suitable ohmmeter, ensure no continuity exists between terminals 4 and 5.
5. If continuity is not as specified in steps 1 through 4, replace heater relay.

Heater Blower Relay Testing:

Operation Test
1. Apply battery voltage accross terminals 1 and 3.
2. Check that there is continuity between terminals 4 and 5.
3. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 2 and 4.
4. If operation is not as specified in step 3, replace heater relay.
