A42DL and A44DL Transmission With Overdrive and Lock-Up Converter

TORQUE CONVERTER CIRCUIT:

A42DL AND A44DL TRANSMISSION WITH OVERDRIVE AND LOCK-UP CONVERTER

1) Check balls and springs have been added to the torque converter circuit in the lower valve body.

Valve Body:

2) Due to the addition of check balls and springs to the lower valve body, the valve body plate and upper and lower valve body gaskets have been modified.

3) A check ball and relief hole has been added to the lock-up relay valve in the lower valve body.

Lock-up Control Valve:

4) Due to the modification of the lock-up relay valve, the lock-up control valve has been changed.
