Governor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. On A130L and A131L models, remove transaxle dust cover, then the LH driveshaft.
2. On except A130L and A131L models, disconnect speedometer cable.
3. On all models, remove governor cover, then the O-ring.
4. Remove governor body with thrust washer.
5. On A130L and A131L models, remove washer, then the governor body adapter.
6. On except A130L and A131L models, remove gasket.

Installation

1. On except A130L and A131L models, install new gasket on governor body adapter.
2. On all models, install governor body adapter.
3. On A130L and A131L models, install washer on governor body.
4. On except A130L and A131L models, install governor body with thrust washer.
5. On all models, install governor cover with O-ring.
6. On except A130L and A131L models, connect speedometer cable.
7. On A130L and A131L models, install LH driveshaft, then the transaxle dust cover.
8. Ensure transaxle fluid level is to specifications, then road test vehicle.
