TORQUE CONVERTER PERFORMANCE

To improve engagement/disengagement performance of the lock-up torque converter, the following production changes have been made:




1. The No. 3 check ball and compression spring has been discontinued.




2. These functional components (check ball, compression spring, and relief hole) have been incorporated into both the primary and secondary regulator valves.




3. Two related oil holes in the valve body separator plate have also been discontinued.
