6. Injection pipe leaking.
7. Incorrect injection timing.
8. Faulty nozzle or nozzle holder.
ROUGH IDLE WITH ENGINE WARM
1. Incorrect accelerator cable adjustment.
2. Idle speed too low.
3. Fuel leaking.
4. Incorrect injection timing.
5. Defective or inoperative nozzle or delivery valve.
6. No fuel delivery to injection pump.
ENGINE STALLS
1. Engine will not restart -- refer to ``Engine Cranks Normally But Will Not Start.''
2. Engine starts and idles roughly -- refer to ``Rough Idle With Engine Warm.''
3. Defective fuel cut solenoid.
4. No fuel delivery to injection pump.
ENGINE LACKS POWER
1. Restricted air cleaner.
2. Engine overheating.
3. Incorrect accelerator cable adjustment.
4. Incorrect no load maximum RPM.
5. Incorrect installation of overflow and inlet screws.
6. Fuel leaking.
7. Clogged fuel filter.
8. Improper injection timing.
9. Faulty nozzle or nozzle holder.
EXCESSIVE EXHAUST SMOKE
1. Restricted air cleaner.
2. Incorrect injection timing.
3. Clogged fuel filter.
4. Faulty nozzle or nozzle holder.
EXCESSIVE FUEL CONSUMPTION
1. Fuel leaking.
2. Idle speed too high.
3. Maximum RPM speed adjusted too high.
4. Incorrect injection timing.
5. Faulty nozzle or nozzle holder.
ENGINE NOISY WHEN WARM, EXCESSIVE VIBRATION
1. Coolant temperature too low.
2. Incorrect injection timing.

ENGINE WILL NOT RETURN TO IDLE SPEED
1. Accelerator linkage binding.
ENGINE DOES NOT STOP WITH IGNITION OFF
