II. Preliminary Procedure

1. Disconnect the green wire connector from the distributor assembly.

2. Disconnect the spark plug wires at the spark plugs.

CAUTION:

* Check that the ignition key is in the OFF position.

* Be careful not to drop screws or nuts into the distributor.

* Do not pull excessively on the wires or connectors.


3. Remove the distributor cap.


4. Check igniter identification marks. (Section III)

5. If replacement is necessary, remove the ECU +B (15A) fuse, Section IV.
