3.1.2 Lift the vehicle
3.1.3 Remove wheels
3.1.4 Remove stabilizer end
3.1.5 Remove coil springs
3.1.6 Scrape all dirt and rust scale and use compressed air to blow loose
particles on:
^ surface
^ coil spring seat
^ inside of control arm

3.1.7 If perforation is noted in the spring seat area, proceed to Step 4
and replace both lower suspension arms.

3.2 Pre-treatment

3.2.1 Clean small holes shown below using center punch, awl and small wire
brush. Blow air through the small holes.

Suspension Arm:

3.2.2 Apply sealer to all 7 points on each suspension arm as shown on
figure 13.

Sealer Nozzle:

3.2.3 Cut sealer nozzle tip at first line and apply sealer (P/N
00295-01208) generously to holes A-1, A-3 and A-4. Apply an extra

heavy amount at A-4 hole.

3.2.4 Apply sealer to seams at A-2 holes (from underside) by inserting
sealer nozzle at an angle an illustrated below. Fig. 14.
Coat a Phillips screwdriver with penetrant to prevent pulling the sealer out of the seams and remove excess sealer material from A-2 drain hole with the screwdriver an shown above. Wipe the screwdriver clean from the underside before removing the screwdriver. This procedure insures that the A-2 seams are sealed but the drain holes remain open. After sealer Is applied you MUST WAIT 5 MINUTES for the sealer to harden before proceeding to the next step.

NOTE: Remove nozzle from sealer tube, recap sealer tube and clean nozzle hole before storing for next usage.
