Completion Label and Reimbursement Procedure

SECTION II: COMPLETION LABEL AND REIMBURSEMENT PROCEDURE


1. After completing repair and before returning the vehicle to a customer, a SSC completion label must be affixed to the firewall next to the factory I. D. plate.

SSC Completion Label:




1.1 The label is to be filled out as follows:
1.1.1. Additional SSC completion labels (P/N 00410-01917) may be ordered through the non-parts system on a 1450 order form or through the TDN system.


SECTION III: REIMBURSEMENT PROCEDURE


1. Submit Special Service Campaign (SC type) Claim using the following operation codes as applicable:

Note 1: All above operation codes include 0.1 hr. for
administrative expenses.

Note 2: Operation Code 650023 is for vehicles requiring replacement
of the lower arms using a normal removal procedure.

Note 3: Operation Code 650024 is also for vehicles requiring
replacement of the lower arms. Use this operation code only if the the arm mounting bolts are excessively corroded and it is necessary to use a pneumatic chisel and/or a torch to remove the lower arms from the mounting bracket of the crossmember. Rust proof coating on the mounting brackets of the crossmember is also required.
Note 4: Flat rate time for wheel alignment is included in Operation Codes 650023 and 650024.

2. The cost of the chemicals required for rust proofing both lower arms is $14.71. Enter this amount in the sublet area of the Warranty Claim if Operation Code 650022 is used. The cost per vehicle was determined as follows:

3. Summary of Claim Preparation

3.1 For Operation Code 650022

Labor Hours = 3.1 Sublet Type = "FO" Sublet Amount = $14.71 Parts Amount = (see page 8 section 3.3.4 of this SSC 605 instruction package)
Markup Amount = (25% of parts amount)

3.1.1 For Operation Code 650023

Labor Hours = 3.9 Sublet Amount = normally $0.00 (if used, explanation is required)
Parts Amount = As required per condition of vehicle Markup Amount = (25% of parts amount)

3.1.2 For Operation Code 650024

Labor Hours = 5.9 Sublet Amount = normally $0.00 (if used, explanation is required)
Parts Amount = As required per condition of vehicle.
