Introduction

The front door opening weatherstrips on 2001 - 2003 model year Highlander vehicles have been improved to better resist deformation or tearing at the bottom center portion of the front door frame. Replace the front door opening weatherstrips on vehicles with this condition built prior to the VIN breaks listed in the Production Change Information section below.

Repair Procedure

Replace the front door opening weatherstrip as shown in the Technical Information System (TIS). Refer to the 2001 - 2003 Highlander Repair Manual; Exterior/Interior Trim, Roof Headlining Assembly.





Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
