ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

HINT:
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal. But, the installation is indicated only when it has a point.
- In the LH side, work in the same procedure as in the RH side.
- See the components' drawing of rear seat.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front door scuff plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear door scuff plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
9. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
10. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
11. REMOVE BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
12. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH




a. Pull the center pillar lower garnish upward to remove it.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

13. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER LH
14. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH




a. Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt shoulder anchor.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar upper garnish.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

15. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH
16. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
17. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the 5 clips.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the 2 bolts and deck side trim box RH.

18. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.2
19. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.3
20. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY
21. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY
22. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH




a. Remove the screw.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the deck trim box.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

23. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH
24. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear floor finish plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

25. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH




a. Remove the 6 bolts.
b. Remove the bolt and rear seat outer belt floor anchor.
c. Remove the clip.
d. Using a screwdriver, remove the deck trim side panel.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

e. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

26. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

27. REMOVE QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH RH




a. Remove the clip.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the quarter pillar garnish.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

28. REMOVE QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH LH




29. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side rail garnish.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

30. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH




31. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY INNER RH
a. Remove the clip.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side garnish assembly inner.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

32. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY INNER LH




33. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

34. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH

35. REMOVE RH VISOR ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 screws and visor.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

36. REMOVE LH VISOR ASSEMBLY
37. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the courtesy lens.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the 4 screws and roof console box inner cover.
38. REMOVE ROOM LAMP ASSEMBLY NO.1




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the room lamp lens.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the 4 screws and room lamp, then disconnect the connector.

39. REMOVE ROOM LAMP ASSEMBLY NO.2
40. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the assist grip plug.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.




41. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER
a. Remove the holder of the sun visor by turning it to the left.

42. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 4 clips and roof headlining.
b. Remove the headlining assembly from the back door.

43. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY




a. Align the markings, then install the wire harness with tape.
b. Install the roof headlining with the 4 clips.

44. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the rear seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

Torque: 42.0 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)

b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

45. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
46. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
a. Install the front seat outer belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.

Torque: 42.0 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)

b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
