Applicability

Introduction

Follow the procedures in this bulletin to inspect the automatic transmission column shift control shaft sub-assembly for possible remanufacturing. If applicable the control shaft sub-assembly can be sent out for remanufacturing. Control shaft sub-assembly part numbers 33501-08010 33501-0C020 and 33501-OC011 are eligible for this remanufacturing program.

Inspection Procedure

1. Inspect the automatic transmission column shift control shaft sub-assembly.








Is the control shaft sub-assembly damaged or deformed in an area other than outlined in red in Figures 2 - 6?

^ YES - Go to step 2.

^ NO - This TSB does NOT apply.

If there is an issue within the highlighted area of the control shaft sub-assembly, the part is not eligible for the remanufacturing program, and this TSB does NOT apply.

2. Reference PANT Bulletin 2011-080 "Remanufactured Transmission Shift Control Sub-Assembly Program" for the control shaft sub-assembly remanufacturing procedure.

PANT Bulletins can be found on the Technical Information System (TIS) under Reference Information - Document Group: Service Operations/Parts - PANT Bulletins.

Dealer orders for any of the Reman part numbers in this program CANNOT be processed by the Dealer's facing PDC. Please follow the instructions in the PANT Bulletin.

3. Install remanufactured control shaft sub-assembly.
