Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT VACUUM SENSING HOSE FROM FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
2. DISCONNECT FUEL RETURN HOSE FROM FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR

CAUTION: Put a suitable container or shop towel under the pressure regulator.




3. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
a. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pressure regulator.

Torque: 8.8 Nm (90 kg.cm, 78 in.lb)

b. Remove the O-ring.

HINT: At the time of installation, please refer to the following items.
Use a new O-ring.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
