A groove has been added to both the inner and outer wheel flanges to improve wheel weight retention on 1997 Model Year 4Runner and Tacoma.

NOTE:
If wheel identification is necessary, break tire bead from aluminum rim and inspect the flange for the added groove.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

On vehicles produced before the production change, reduce the clamp width on factory supplied wheel weights.
