Removal and Installation






REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)





2. DISCONNECT FLEXIBLE HOSE
Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets from the caliper, then disconnect the flexible hose from the caliper.
Torque: 30 Nm (310 kgf-cm, 22 ft. lbs.)

HINT: At the time of installation, install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the caliper.





3. REMOVE CALIPER Remove the 2 mounting bolts and caliper.
Torque: 123 Nm (1,250 kgf-cm, 90 ft. lbs.)
4. REMOVE CLIP, 2 PINS AND ANTI-RATTLE SPRING
5. REMOVE 2 PADS WITH 4 ANTI-SQUEAL SHIMS


INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT: After installation, fill the brake reservoir with brake fluid, bleed brake system and check for leaks.
