How to Identify Tire Pressure Sensor Number

Using Recommended Tool ("VT55" made by ATEQ)

1) Check each tire for crack, any other damage and air leakage.
2) Adjust each tire pressure to 260 kPa.
3) Drive vehicle at more than 35 km/h (22 mph) for 10 minutes.
4) Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC.
5) Select "Data List" under "keyless start control module" mode of SUZUKI scan tool.
6) Check "ID code" indicated in "Data List" on SUZUKI scan tool.
7) Using recommended tool ("VT55" made by ATEQ) (1), activate each tire pressure sensor.

Refer to instruction of recommended tool for method of activating tire pressure sensor.





8) Check ID code indicated on recommended tool.
9) Compare ID code indicated in scan tool with code in recommended tool.

Not Using Recommended Tool

1) Check each tire for crack, any other damage and air leakage.
2) Adjust each tire pressure to 260 kPa.
3) Replace right front tire with spare tire.
4) Drive vehicle at more than 35 km/h (22 mph) for 10 minutes.
5) Check DTC. DTC Check
6) Using the indicated DTC and referring to Tire Pressure Monitoring System DTC Table
, check the number of tire pressure sensor. The number indicated by DTC represents the number of tire pressure sensor of right front tire.
7) Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
8) Confirm the number of tire pressure sensor for other tires by same procedure.
