DTC Troubleshooting

1. Circuit fuse check

Confirm that the ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "E10" and "E11" connectors.
Check for proper connection to "E10-8" and "E11-1" terminals.
If connection are OK, check "P/S" fuse and "IG1 SIG" fuse for blowing.

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Replace fuse(s) and check for short to ground in circuits connected to fuse(s).

2. P/S control module power supply circuit check

Check voltage between "E11-1" terminal and ground.

Is voltage 10 - 14 V?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
"A1" circuit is open.

3. IG1 power supply circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check voltage between "E10-8" terminal and ground.

Is voltage 10 - 14 V?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
"A2" circuit is open.

4. P/S control module ground circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "OFF".
Check resistance between "E11-2" terminal and ground.

Is resistance 1 ohms or less?
YES -
Go to Step 5.
NO -
"A3" circuit is open or high resistance.

5. P/S control module ground circuit check

Connect "E10" and "E11" connectors.
Start engine.
Check voltage between "E11-2" terminal and ground when steering wheel fully turned to left or right.

Is voltage 0.5 V or less?
YES -
"A1" and "A3" circuits are in good condition.
NO -
"A3" circuit is open or high resistance.
