OCM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check

Troubleshooting
1. Battery voltage check
Measure voltage on battery.
Is voltage 9 - 16 V?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Check charging system and repair wiring. Testing and Inspection
2. Connection check
Check for proper connection to each connector.
Is it connected securely?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection
If OK, substitute a known-good SDM and recheck DTC. SDM Removal and Installation
3. Circuit fuse check
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
Check "A/B" fuse for blowing.
Is "A/B" fuse in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Repair defective wire circuit. Replace "A/B" fuse, after repairing it.
4. OCM with sensor mat power supply voltage check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "L08" connector.
Check for proper connection to "L08-2" terminal.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Measure voltage between "L08-2" terminal and ground.
Special Tool
(A): 09932-76010
Is voltage 10 - 14 V?
YES -
Go to Step 5.
NO -
Repair defective wire circuit.
5. OCM with sensor mat ground circuit check
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Disconnect "L05" connector.
Check for proper connection to "L08-3" terminal.
Check for proper connection to "L05-16" terminal.
Measure resistance between "L05-16" and "L08-3" terminals.
Special Tool
(A): 09932-76010
Is resistance 1ohms or less?
YES -
OCM power supply and ground circuit are in good condition.
NO -
Repair defective wire circuit.
