Wiper and Washer System Description

The wiper and washer system consists of BCM, wiper and washer switch, wiper motor, washer motor, and rain / light sensor (if equipped).

Wiper and Washer Switch

The wiper and washer switch has the following wiper positions: "LO" (steady low speed operation), "HI" (steady high speed operation), and "INT" (intermittent operation for the manual adjustment type) or "AUTO" (automatically controlled wiper operation depending on rain / snow conditions for the automatic adjustment type). In addition to the above, there is the "MIST" position, which allows the wipers to operate at a low speed while the wiper and washer switch is held in this position.

Wiper Motor

Operation of the wiper motor is controlled by BCM.
