SDM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check
Circuit Diagram
DTC Troubleshooting
1. Battery voltage check
Check battery voltage.
Is voltage in 9 - 16 V?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Check charging system and repair it. Testing and Inspection
2. SDM connection check
Check for proper connection to SDM connector.
Is it connected securely?
YES
Go to Step 3.
NO
Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection
If OK, substitute a known-good SDM and recheck connection. SDM Removal and Installation
3. Fuse check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Check "A/B" fuse.
Is "A/B" fuse in good condition?
YES
Go to Step 4.
NO
Replace defective harness and then replace "A/B" fuse.
4. Power circuit check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "L04" connector.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Measure voltage between "L04-18" terminal and ground.
Special Tool
(A): 09932-76010
Is voltage in 10 - 14 V?
YES
Go to Step 5.
NO
Replace defective harness.
5. Ground circuit check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Measure resistance between "L04-23" terminal ground.
Special Tool
(A): 09932-76010
Is resistance 1 or less?
YES
SDM power circuit and ground circuit are in good condition.
NO
Replace defective harness.
