Parking Sensor Removal and Installation (If Equipped)

Removal

1) Remove rear bumper. Service and Repair
2) Disconnect parking sensor connector (3).
3) Release claws (2) and remove parking sensor cover (1).
4) Remove parking sensor (4).





5) If necessary, remove sensor bracket.

Installation

Parking Sensor Inspection (If Equipped)

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

- When reusing sensor bracket (1), remove old double-stick tape and replace it with new one.
- Clean and degrease the area where the sensor bracket is to be installed.
- Apply primer (an equivalent of SUMITOMO 3M K-520 or 4298UV) to the area where the sensor bracket is to be installed.
- Install sensor bracket in the direction as shown in figure.
