A/F Sensor and HO2S Monitor (EVAP Leak Check Model)
OBD System Description - A/F Sensor and HO2S Monitor (EVAP Leak Check Model)System Description / Monitoring Procedure
A/F sensor
A/F sensor is monitored maximum and minimum voltage, maximum and minimum current, lean-to-rich and rich-to-lean response rates when monitoring conditions are met. The sensor is also monitored for activity continuously.
HO2S
HO2S is used for catalyst monitoring and fuel control system (sub feed back). During monitoring conditions, HO2S is monitored max. and min. output voltages and compares the voltage with malfunction criteria.
