SUBJECT:
Unexpected Switching of Navigation Display Between DVD Screen and Map
Introduction
If you encounter a customer complaint that the navigation display switches unexpectedly between the DVD screen and map, there is the possibility that the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) Hydraulic Control (H/C) Assembly is generating noise causing the condition. The condition normally occurs when the vehicle is stopped with the ignition ON or with the engine running. To remedy the condition the VDC H/C Assembly will need to be replaced.
Countermeasure in Production
The new style VDC H/C Assembly was used in production starting in mid-June, 2009 with the following VINs
