Body Integrated UnitREMOVAL
NOTE:
1. When replacing the body integrated unit
- Prepare the security ID plate.
- When replacing the body integrated unit, check the current settings and record it. Scan Tool Testing and Procedures
2. After replacing the body integrated unit
- Register the immobilizer. For detailed operation procedures, refer to "PC application help for Subaru Select Monitor". (models with immobilizer)
- Set the current settings as recorded.
1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the instrument panel lower cover.
3. Remove the body integrated unit.
CAUTION: Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from body integrated unit.
1. Disconnect the harness clip and connector.
2. Remove the bolts, and remove the body integrated unit.
INSTALLATION
Install each part in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque:
Body integrated unit: 7.5 N.m (0.76 kgf.m, 5.5 ft.lb)
NOTE: Make sure that there are no differences from the contents of the current settings after installation. Scan Tool Testing and Procedures
