REPLACEMENT1. Pull out the oil level gauge.
2. Lift up the vehicle.
3. Drain transmission gear oil completely.
CAUTION:
- Immediately after the engine has been running, the transmission gear oil is hot.
- Be careful not to burn yourself.
- Be careful not to spill the transmission gear oil on exhaust pipe to prevent it from emitting smoke or causing fires. If transmission gear oil is spilled on the exhaust pipe, wipe it off completely.
NOTE:
- Tighten the drain plug of the transmission gear oil after draining the transmission gear oil.
- Be sure to use a new gasket.
- Use TORX bit T70 to remove and install the drain plug on clutch housing side.
Tightening torque:
Oil pan side 50 N-m (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)
Clutch housing side 70 N-m (7.1 kgf-m, 51.6 ft-lb)
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Pour transmission gear oil through the gauge hole.
Recommended gear oil GL-5 (75W-909) or equivalent
Transmission gear oil capacity 4.1 l (4.3 US qt, 3.6 Imp qt)
6. Check the level of the transmission gear oil.
NOTE: Keep the transmission gear oil level to be between the range marked on the level gauge.
