Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair

Fuel Bypass Valve

REMOVAL
1. Release the fuel pressure.
2. Disconnect the pressure regulator vacuum hose.
3. Disconnect the fuel delivery line and return line from the fuel by-pass valve.
4. Remove the fuel by-pass valve from the vehicle.




5. Disconnect the fuel delivery hose and fuel return hose from the fuel by-pass valve.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.




Tightening torque:
T1: 7.5 N.m (0.76 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
T2: 1.25 N.m (0.13 kgf-m, 0.94 ft-lb)
