Exhaust System: Description and Operation
General- The exhaust system consists of a front exhaust pipe assembly, a rear exhaust pipe with two resonance chambers, and a variable-flow muffler. The front exhaust pipe assembly consists of right and left exhaust pipes each incorporating a front catalytic converter, and a rear catalytic converter that is located at the joint of the two pipes.
- The variable-flow muffler has a valve which opens when the exhaust pressure increases. This helps reducing exhaust noise and increasing engine output simultaneously.
