Caliper Replace

FRONT

1. Remove union bolt and disconnect brake hose from caliper assembly.
2. Remove brake pads as described under ``Brake Pads, Replace.''
3. Remove caliper assembly by pulling from support, Fig. 2.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque union bolt to 13 ft.lbs. and, if removed, support bolt to 36-51 ft.lbs. on all except Justy models, or 38-48 ft.lbs. on Justy. Also bleed brakes after installation.

REAR

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle and remove wheels.
2. Disconnect brake hose from caliper body and plug hose.
3. Remove bolts securing caliper support bracket to trailing arm, then the caliper and support assembly, Fig. 4.
4. Reverse procedure to install, torquing support bolts to 34-43 ft.lbs., then bleed brakes as needed.
