Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

Exc. XT Coupe

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and disconnect center instrument panel trim plate.
2. Remove radio mounting screws.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors and antenna lead, then remove radio.
4. Reverse procedure to install.

XT Coupe

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove clock.
2. Remove radio bracket retaining screws and withdraw radio.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors and antenna lead, then remove radio and bracket assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
