SUBJECT: SERVICE MANUAL CORRECTIONS: 1988 "L" SERIES SERVICE MANUAL G139BE2 DASH POT ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE REVISIONS
The engine speed at the point of contact with the Dash Pot specification for automatic transmission vehicles is 3600 - 4300 Rpm. This information was left out of the 1988 Service Manual, publication No. G139BE2, Section 2-7, page 87. The specification for manual transmission vehicles remains at 2800 - 3400 RPM.
Please add this information to your Service Manual.
