For each 18 °F tire air temperature change the tire inflation pressure changes by approx. 0.1 bar. This is to be observed when checking the tire inflation pressure in workshop areas, especially in winter, when after a prolonged workshop visit the tire air temperature has reached room temperature.

Example:
Room air temperature = 36 °F
Ambient air temperature = 0 °F

The tire inflation pressure to be adjusted results from the specified tire inflation pressure + 0.2 bar.
