GF82.10-P-2013MCU Ambient Illumination Actuation Function
- with CODE (V54) Rain/light sensor
The ambient illumination actuation is used to illuminate the surroundings of the vehicle when the vehicle is being locked and unlocked. The exterior lights of the vehicle are switched on for approx. 12 s.
Function requirements
^ Transmitter key removed
^ Locking button or release button pressed on transmitter key
^ Rain sensor / light sensor (B38) signals darkness
Function
The following components are actuated by the SAM control unit (N10/10) to illuminate the vehicle surroundings when locking and unlocking:
^ Left low beam (E1e2)
^ Right low beam (E2e2)
^ Left parking light (E6/13)
^ Right parking lamp (E6/14)
^ Left taillight (E3e2)
^ Right taillight (E4e2)
^ Left license plate lamp (E19/1)
^ Right license plate lamp (E19/2)
When the vehicle is unlocked, the front interior lamp (E15/4) is also actuated by the SAM control unit to illuminate the interior of the vehicle.
