Electric Motor Part Ordering of Reconditioned Assemblies

For the electric motor number A 451 340 04 00 reconditioned assemblies are now available along with new parts. Parts information below applies to electric drive - 2nd generation.

Please return all removed engines through the valid return shipment channel.

Procedure

When ordering the reconditioned assembly, follow procedure below:

1. If the driven distance of the customer vehicle lies between 0 and 40,000 km (24,900 miles), then the reconditioned engine A 451 340 04 00 80 0001 has to be ordered. This engine can be recognized by the white part label and the index specification 0001.

2. If the customer vehicle's driven distance is more than 40,000 km 24,900 miles), then the reconditioned engine A451 340 04 00 80 0002 has to be ordered. This engine can be recognized by the blue part label and the index specification 0002. For return delivery of the removed part, the coolant connections are to be sealed off using the stop plugs of the shipped replacement part.
