1 Clean bonding area of bracket (1).

2 Bond damping strips (2) on lower edge of front side of bracket (1).







3 Connect plugs (3) to card reader at windshield (A50/5).
Plugs (3) are coded and cannot be swapped.

4 Insert card reader at windshield (A50/5) into bracket (1) until it engages behind detents of bracket (1).







5 Clean bonding areas of card reader at windshield (A50/5).

6 Bond damper points (4) on card reader at windshield (A50/5).
Damper points (4) are not bonded to windshield.







7 Position bracket (1) with card reader at windshield (A50/5) at windshield.
The corner at the right foot of the bracket (1) must lie flush over the edge (5) of the vent grille. The upper edges of the feet of the bracket (1) must not protrude over the edge (8) of the instrument panel.

8 Pre-pierce holes for screws/bolts (7) using a suitable tool .

9 Cover vent grille and tighten screw/ bolts (7).

10 If necessary, push remaining visible wiring harness behind instrument panel.
