Location
The stretch belt is located seen in the direction of travel on the right side on the engine and connects the crankshaft belt pulley with the refrigerant compressor belt pulley.

Task
The stretch belt transfers the rotational movement of the crankshaft via the crankshaft belt pulley to the refrigerant compressor belt and thus drives the refrigerant compressor (A9).

The stretch belt does not need a tensioning device and must be replaced after a specified mileage.
