AR42.10-P-0041-01MCC Measure Brake Pedal Travel

Determine pedal travel of brake pedal







1 Move front wheels to "straight-ahead position".
Steering wheel at center position
2 Determine the dimension between the measuring point (arrow A) on the underside of the steering wheel and the measuring point (arrow B) on the center point of the brake pedal.
Use a commercially available steel tape.
3 Depress brake pedal by applying light pressure until stop lamps light up.
The brake pedal travel up to the point where the stop lamps light up must be between 7 and 12 mm. Use a commercially available steel tape.
