Only unleaded fuel may be used for vehicles equipped with catalytic converters and oxygen sensors.

















The minimum requirements in respect of gasoline fuels are defined in the Federal Republic of Germany in DIN standards.
- DIN EN 228 applies to unleaded fuels (Sheet 122.2)

Filling stations identify such fuel qualities with a sticker affixed to the pumps.

Leaded fuels have no longer been available since end 1996.
