Location
The tank vent valve is mounted on the intake manifold.

Task
The tank vent valve leads fuel vapors arising in the fuel tank to combustion.

Design
The tank vent valve is fitted with a solenoid which actuates the integral valve.

Function
The tank vent valve is actuated by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). With appropriate actuation the tank vent valve opens and leads the fuel vapors arising from the fuel tank to combustion.
