Installation

TX6A AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: OIL COOLER: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the transmission oil cooler to the transmission oil cooler bracket with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 23 Nm (235 kgf-cm, 17 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 new oil cooler hoses to the transmission oil cooler with the 2 hose clamps.

(c) Install the transmission oil cooler with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 23 Nm (235 kgf-cm, 17 ft-lbf)

2. CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the transmission oil cooler with the 2 hose clamps.

3. CONNECT TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSE

(a) Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses with the 2 hose clamps.

(b) Install the clip as shown in the illustration.









4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

5. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

Adjustment

6. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

7. INSPECT FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK

8. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation

9. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation
