SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSPECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly

2. INSTALL REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Tighten the bolt B to install the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly.

Torque : 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)





(b) Install the bolt A.

Torque : 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)

(c) Check if the ELR locks.

NOTICE:
The check should be performed with the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly installed.

(1) With the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

(d) Connect the floor anchor of the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly with the bolt.









Torque : 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE Installation

8. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Installation
