Installation

BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER): BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL SEAL

(a) Install a new seal to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.

2. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the brake master cylinder sub-assembly to the brake booster assembly with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(b) Using a union nut wrench 12 mm, install the 2 brake tubes to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.

Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Use the formula to calculate the special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Service Precautions.

(c) Connect the brake fluid level switch connector.

Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL LH

Torque : 120 Nm (1224 kgf-cm, 86 ft-lbf)
