LIGHTING: HAZARD WARNING SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH





(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning switch.

(b) Check the illumination operation.

(1) Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 5 (Ill+) and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 6 (Ill-), then check that the illumination illuminates.

OK:

Illumination illuminates.

If the illumination does not illuminate, replace the hazard warning switch.
