METER: METER / GAUGE SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the F1 combination meter assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the F1 combination meter assembly connector.
(d) Measure the voltage and check for pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.
* *1: w/ Daytime Running Light
* *2: w/ Daytime Running Light
* *3: for U.S.A.
* *4: for Canada
If the result is not as specified, the combination meter may be malfunctioning.
(1) Waveform 1: Using an oscilloscope
HINT
As the vehicle speed increases, the cycle of the signal waveform narrows.
(2) Waveform 2: Using an oscilloscope
2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU
(a) Measure the voltage, resistance and check for pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
3. COMBINATION METER INTERNAL CIRCUIT
