2ZR-FE COOLING: COOLING FAN MOTOR: REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Be sure that the ignition is off if you work near the electric cooling fans or radiator grille. With the ignition on, the electric cooling fans may automatically start to run if the engine coolant temperature is high and/or the air conditioning is on.
1. DRAIN COOLANT Service and Repair
2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal
5. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER ABSORBER Disassembly
6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal
7. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE Removal
8. DISCONNECT INLET NO. 2 OIL COOLER HOSE (for Automatic Transaxle) Removal
9. DISCONNECT OUTLET NO. 1 OIL COOLER HOSE (for Automatic Transaxle) Removal
10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE Removal
11. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal
12. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER Removal
13. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
14. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY Removal
15. REMOVE FAN SHROUD Removal
16. REMOVE FAN
(a) Remove the nut and remove the fan.
17. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR
(a) Remove the 3 screws and remove the cooling fan motor.
