DESCRIPTION
When the ignition switch is ON and the window lock switch is off, the power window regulator master switch sends remote UP/DOWN signals to the front power window regulator motor (passenger side) via the LIN communication line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)
(a) Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the power window regulator master switch. Check that the remote UP/DOWN function operates normally.
OK:
Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG -- CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
OK -- END
2. CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check for LIN communication system DTCs related to the power window control system LIN Communication System.
OK:
LIN communication system DTCs are not output.
NG -- GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM LIN Communication System
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MASTER SWITCH)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body / Master Switch / Data List /
(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.
Master Switch
OK:
The Techstream display changes normally when master switch is operated.
