Removal





REAR SUSPENSION: REAR SHOCK ABSORBER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER

3. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER CAP

4. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

(a) Support the axle beam with a jack. Insert a wooden block between the jack and the rear axle spring seat to prevent damage.

(b) Hold the lower nut and loosen the upper nut.

(c) Remove the 2 nuts.

(d) Remove the rear shock absorber cushion retainer and rear suspension support.

(e) Remove the bolt while keeping the nut from rotating and remove the rear shock absorber.





NOTICE:
Remove the nut from the bolt side because the nut is a jam nut.

5. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT STOPPER

6. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
