Reassembly

1NR-FE FUEL: FUEL PUMP: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL TANK CUSHION

(a) Install the No. 2 fuel tank cushion.





2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

(a) Apply gasoline to a new O-ring, and then install the new O-ring to the jet pump.





(b) Engage the 2 claws.





(c) Engage the claw to install the jet pump to the fuel pump.





(d) Apply gasoline to a new O-ring, and then install the new O-ring to the fuel suction plate.





(e) Install the fuel pump spacer onto the fuel pump.





(f) Engage the 3 claws.





(g) Engage the 2 claws to install the fuel pump to the fuel suction plate.





3. INSTALL FUEL PUMP FILTER

(a) Apply gasoline to a new O-ring, and then install the new O-ring to the fuel pump.





(b) Engage the 2 claws to install the fuel pump filter to the fuel pump.





4. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply gasoline to 2 new O-rings, and then install the new O-rings to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.





(b) Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly to the fuel suction plate.





5. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 2 fuel suction support.





6. INSTALL FUEL PUMP HARNESS

(a) Connect the 2 fuel pump harness connectors and install the fuel pump harness.





NOTICE:
Do not damage the wire harness.
